PET roll material is a rubber asphalt bonding material that uses aluminum plated polyester film as a surface reinforcing agent and active additive. When constructing PET rolls, polymer cement mortar can be directly pasted (wet laying method) or used according to traditional construction techniques (dry laying method), which can meet the construction needs of different projects. Especially suitable for waterproofing engineering design with frequent intermittent construction. When the membrane is exposed for a long time after construction, it can reduce the folding and bulging phenomenon of PET membrane after paving.
PET coil construction process:
Clean the base layer - → Wet the base layer (if the base layer is wet, this process is not necessary) - → Position and capture the line - → Mix and lay cement slurry - → Lay coiled materials - → Exhaust ventilation - → Seal the overlapping edges - → Trim and seal the coiled materials - → Acceptance.
Construction method of PET roll material:
1. Clean the dust and debris on the substrate surface and sprinkle water on the dry substrate surface in advance;
2. The reference line should be snapped on the base to determine the position of the PET waterproof roll. Based on the flatness of the on-site base layer, the paving thickness of cement slurry is generally 1-3 millimeters. Apply cement slurry within the range of the roll material paving (the range should not be too large, paving during plastering);
3. Remove the isolation film from the lower surface of the PET waterproof membrane and lay the PET waterproof membrane on the newly laid cement slurry;
4. After laying one circle, apply water slurry, lay two more circles, and so on;
5. Use a trowel or rubber plate to press the surface of the roll material, lift the cement slurry, and exhaust the air below the surface of the roll material, so that the roll material is tightly attached to the cement slurry;
6. According to the on-site situation, when the laid roll or cement slurry has sufficient strength, it can be overlapped. When overlapping, lift the release film at the overlap of the lower layer of the coil, and paste the upper layer of the coil onto the lower layer of the coil. The overlap width of the coil should not be less than 80mm;
After the coil is laid, the coil end and winding part can be sealed with sealing paste.
Method for each node:
The method of adding additional layers to the internal and external corners is as follows. The total width of the additional layer is 500mm, with 250mm on each side.
2. This atlas requires 150mm waterproof stubble laying on the exterior wall and top of the basement. Considering staggered joints, the length of the abandoned stubble is determined to be 500mm.
Precautions for PET coils:
1. Oil based treatment agent needs to be applied, and non curing liquid rubber waterproof coating can only be applied after the oil based treatment agent is completely dry.
2. Construction operations can only be carried out when the uncured rubber asphalt waterproof coating melts into a liquid state and reaches the specified heat temperature.
3. While scraping the non curing rubber asphalt waterproof coating, roll up the PET self-adhesive waterproof membrane and pay attention to the bonding effect of the overlapping edges of the membrane.
4. Before the construction of the waterproof layer, various pipelines and embedded parts need to be installed and fixed to avoid drilling holes, damaging the waterproof layer, and leaving hidden dangers of leakage after the construction of the waterproof layer.
5. When laying wide PET waterproof rolls, the end of the roll should be temporarily sealed (sealed with tape or thickened cement mortar) to prevent rapid water loss at the end of the vertical wall.
